Bank power of attorney
The private bank power of attorney serves the financial capacity of the heir to act as long as the legal succession has not been formally established (certificate of inheritance or public will). The power of attorney beyond death can be issued with immediate effect, with effect on death or on formally established legal incapacity. As a rule, banks only accept bank powers of attorney if they are submitted on their forms and in the presence of their employees (or notarised).
Special forms are the provident power of attorney and, in the corporate sector, the shareholder’s power of attorney and the management power of attorney.
